Order Processing & Production

Processing and shipping timelines vary depending on the product purchased and whether it is ready to ship or made to order.

Ready-to-Ship Products

Our in-stock gift wrap typically ships within 2–3 business days of order placement. Delivery times depend on the shipping method and destination.

Made-to-Order Pajamas

Our adult and children's pajamas are individually produced, cut, and sewn after an order is placed.

All pajama production and shipping estimates are calculated in calendar days, including weekends.

Other Products & Made-to-Order Items

Certain products require additional processing, customization, or production before shipping. Fulfillment timelines vary depending on the item and production requirements.

Standard & Express Shipping

Available shipping options and applicable charges are displayed at checkout.

Where available, express shipping reduces transit time but does not necessarily shorten production or processing times.

Once your order has been transferred to the shipping carrier, the carrier manages its transportation, tracking updates, and delivery schedule. Mah Melanin does not control carrier operations and cannot guarantee delivery dates or prevent delays caused by the carrier.

Carrier-related delays do not automatically qualify an order for a refund. Any legally required remedies or expressly guaranteed delivery terms will continue to apply.

Tracking & Delivery Updates

Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking information when available.

Tracking information may take additional time to update after the carrier receives your package.

For the most current delivery status, customers are encouraged to contact the shipping carrier directly using the tracking information provided.

Orders containing multiple products may arrive in separate shipments.

Shipping Delays & Peak Seasons

Shipping and production timelines may be affected by increased order volume, holidays, severe weather, carrier disruptions, and other circumstances outside our control.

During peak holiday seasons, we strongly recommend placing orders well in advance, especially for made-to-order products.

Holiday ordering deadlines may be announced separately on our website.

If Mah Melanin anticipates being unable to ship an order within the promised timeframe, we will communicate the delay and provide applicable cancellation or refund options in accordance with consumer protection laws.

Shipping Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.

Please carefully review your shipping information before submitting an order.

If an incorrect address is provided, Mah Melanin cannot guarantee that changes can be made after an order has entered processing or has shipped.

Additional shipping fees may apply if a package must be returned and reshipped because of an incorrect customer-provided address.

If an addressing error is made by Mah Melanin, we will work to correct the issue at no additional cost to the customer.

Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Packages

Once a package has been accepted by the shipping carrier, the carrier is responsible for managing its transportation and delivery process.

Mah Melanin is unable to control or prevent carrier-related delays, misrouting, or delivery disruptions once a package is in transit.

If a package is delayed: Customers should refer to their tracking information and contact the carrier for the most current delivery updates. Mah Melanin is not responsible for the carrier's estimated delivery dates or operational delays.

If a package is lost or missing: Please contact us at info@mahmelanin.com with your order number. We will review the tracking information and assist with a carrier investigation when appropriate. Resolutions will be determined based on the circumstances, applicable shipping terms, and consumer protection laws.

If a package arrives damaged: Please retain all original packaging and contact us with your order number and photographs of the damage so we can review the issue and determine an appropriate resolution.

If a package is marked delivered but cannot be located: Customers should first verify the shipping address, check surrounding delivery areas, and contact the carrier. If the package remains missing, please contact Mah Melanin for further review.

Refunds or replacements are not automatically issued for carrier-related delays or unverified delivery claims. All situations will be reviewed individually, and applicable legal rights will be honored.

Made-to-Order & Final-Sale Items

Designated made-to-order apparel is considered final sale for sizing preferences, incorrect customer size selections, and changes of mind.

This does not affect applicable rights concerning damaged, defective, incorrect, or undelivered merchandise.
